K Portfolios

Invest in what doesn’t change

What is the K Portfolio?

The K Sector Portfolio is an indexed portfolio built with ETFs that combines sector equities, fixed income and gold. It is available in different risk profiles and is managed automatically within inbestMe.

Its objective is not to guess which asset will perform best each year, but to build a solid investment foundation, prepared for different economic scenarios.

The origin: The K Project

K Portfolios have been designed based on the methodology of The Project K, developed by Pablo González Vidal y Joan Tubau, financial educators specialized in long-term investing.

Their approach starts from a simple idea:

Instead of trying to predict what will change, invest in what we know will not change.

Costs

K Portfolios have the same cost structure as our ETF portfolios.

This includes the inbestMe management fee and the costs associated with the ETFs that make up the portfolio.

You can consult the full details in our costs section.

Do you have any question?
Do not keep it for yourself,
we have the answer.

Sometimes, investment decisions can feel complex. That’s why we’ve designed our K Portfolios to be as simple to understand and manage as possible. Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions.

What sectors are included in the K Portfolio and why?

K Portfolios invest in sectors linked to structural needs such as healthcare, consumer staples, energy, technology, utilities, and real estate. These sectors have been selected because they respond to long-term demands that are expected to persist regardless of economic cycles or market trends.

Why is gold included in the portfolio?

Gold acts as a diversifier and a form of protection. Historically, it has shown low correlation with other financial assets and tends to behave differently during periods of uncertainty, inflation, or crisis, helping to stabilize the portfolio.

How often is the portfolio rebalanced?

K Portfolios are reviewed and rebalanced periodically, generally once a year. This process helps maintain alignment with the investor’s risk profile while avoiding unnecessary turnover.

Can I make additional contributions after opening the portfolio?

Yes. You can make additional contributions at any time, either as one-off or recurring investments. These are automatically integrated into the portfolio while maintaining the defined strategy.

Can I withdraw my money at any time?

Yes. You can request partial or full withdrawals at any time. As with any investment, it’s important to consider your time horizon and market conditions when doing so.

Can I change my risk profile later on?

Yes. If your personal situation, goals, or risk tolerance change, you can adjust your profile. inbestMe will adapt your portfolio accordingly while maintaining the long-term investment approach.
