At inbestMe, we continue improving our platform to give you greater autonomy and transparency over your investments. This month we’ve introduced two new features to your account menu: the “My Accounts” section and the automatic generation of Account Ownership Certificates.

ToggleMy Accounts: All Your Account Information in One Place
Until now, some account details (such as your securities account number or custodian entity) were not easily accessible or required contacting our team.
With the new “My Accounts” section, available from your profile menu, you can now view detailed information about each of your accounts at any time:
- Account holder
- inbestMe account number
- Securities account number
- Custodian entity (for example, GVC Gaesco Valores S.V., S.A. for Indexed Fund Portfolios or Interactive Brokers Ireland Limited for ETF Portfolios)
- Tax Identification Number (TIN) of the custodian entity
The information for each account is displayed on a separate card showing its custom name and portfolio type (Indexed Funds, Pension Plans, or ETFs). You can also copy any piece of information with a single click, making it especially useful when you need to provide these details to your financial advisor, tax authorities, or another institution.
Account Ownership Certificates: Generate Them Instantly Yourself
The second new feature is the “Account Ownership Certificates” section, located within “My Documents.”
Certificates are among the documents our clients request most frequently. They are commonly needed for tax procedures, mortgage applications, proof of assets, account transfers, and other administrative processes.
You can now generate them yourself instantly, without waiting, in two formats:
- Account Ownership Certificate: confirms that you are the account holder or joint account holder. It does not include balances or holdings. It is the appropriate option when you only need to prove account ownership without disclosing financial information.
- Balance and Holdings Certificate: includes details of your holdings, cash balance, and total account value as of the latest update. It is intended for situations where you need to provide proof of your assets.
The process is very simple: choose the type of certificate, select the accounts you want (a separate certificate is generated for each selected account), and click “Generate certificates.” Within seconds, your documents will be ready to download.
Adding Money: A Simpler Process
As we announced in our post about the new features in the June 2026 version of the inbestMe app, we have simplified the process of adding money to your portfolios.
We’ve streamlined the process to make it faster, allowing you to access the transfer instructions immediately by clicking the “Add money” button, either from the icon bar or from the bottom menu (also available in the left-hand sidebar on the web platform).

You no longer need to notify us of your deposit. Instead, the process now displays a screen with clearer and simpler instructions for making a bank transfer, including buttons to copy:
- the payment reference (mandatory for the correct and fast identification of your transfer),
- the IBAN, and
- the beneficiary (INBESTME EUROPE AGENCIA DE VALORES S.A.).
The payment reference is now a fixed account number together with your name, making it much easier to remember than the alphanumeric code we previously used.
Depending on your account type, the payment reference will be:
- ETF Portfolios: your Interactive Brokers securities account number followed by your name. Example: U1234567 John Smith.
- Indexed Fund Portfolios and Pension Plans: your inbestMe account number followed by your name. Example: 123456 John Smith.

There is also a feature that allows you to download the transfer instructions as a PDF, providing a convenient guide to complete the bank transfer with complete confidence.
The transfer notification page has now been removed.
However, even though this page is no longer available, there are still four ways to confirm that your deposit has been received:
- When a deposit is assigned to your account, you receive an email confirmation.
- If notifications are enabled, you will receive a notification as soon as the funds are received. Even if notifications are disabled, you can always check them by clicking the notification bell in the upper-right corner of the main page.
- You can also click “View history” for each portfolio and verify that your deposit appears among your latest transactions. You can filter by “Transaction type” and select “Deposits/Withdrawals.” In the example below, we have also filtered the period by selecting “Current year.”
- Additionally, you can check your account chart. If a deposit has been received, you will see an increase in the dotted line representing your net deposits. Filtering by a shorter time period makes this increase easier to identify. In the example below, you can see regular monthly deposits reflected in the chart.

Important Notice
We have temporarily disabled the “Easy Transfer” feature due to recent technological updates to PSD2 protocols used by traditional banks, which caused connection issues beyond our platform’s control.
While we work on a permanent solution that ensures maximum reliability, you can continue funding your portfolios as usual through a standard or instant bank transfer, or by setting up recurring contributions (direct debit) from your client area.

We expect to restore the Easy Transfer feature by mid-August.
We Keep Improving
These new features are a direct response to the suggestions we receive through our Support Center. Our goal is to enable you to complete your most common account management tasks independently and immediately, without having to rely on our Customer Support team (although, of course, they remain available whenever you need assistance).
We have also focused on making the process of adding money to your portfolios as simple as possible. We hope to bring back the Easy Transfer feature very soon, as we know many of you miss it.
Do you have suggestions for features you’d like to see in future updates?
