What’s New in the inbestMe App (June 2026)

A clearer, faster experience focused on what really matters: your investments and your financial plan.

Over the past few months, we have redesigned key parts of the inbestMe app and website with one very specific goal: making it easier than ever for you to understand, manage, and grow your wealth. Here are the main improvements that are already available.

1. New Navigation: Everything One Click Away

The main menu now includes 5 buttons instead of 4. This applies both to the sidebar menu on the web version and the bottom navigation menu in the app.

What You’ll Find in the New Menu

  • Home: main dashboard with your total assets and portfolio summary.
  • Explore Portfolios: a new section to discover and open new portfolios (more in section 2).
  • Add Money: direct access to fund your portfolios (more in section 5).
  • History: detailed view of transactions, contributions, and operations.
  • Reports: tax reports, performance reports, and transaction reports.
My Area has moved to an icon displaying your initials in the top-right corner.

“My Area” Has Moved

Your personal area (My Area) is now accessible through an icon displaying your initials (JM in the example) in the upper-right corner.

From there, you’ll continue to access your personal information, security settings, bank accounts, contracts, documents, referrals, discounts, contact details, and support.

This change separates what you do frequently (investing) from what you access occasionally (managing your account).

This menu, now redesigned as a dedicated page, is also more intuitive, with section headings that make navigation easier.

As you’ll notice, this page also provides access to all support channels under the heading “Support Center.” The support icon previously located in the top-right corner of the app (a “?” symbol) has been removed.

2. “Explore: A More Visible and Detailed Portfolio Showcase

Until now, the option to open a new portfolio was located within a section on the home page. We have redesigned it from scratch and moved it to the new Explore button in the main navigation, where you now have a much clearer view organized through tabs.

Given the broad range of portfolios available at inbestMe, we felt they deserved greater visibility within the client area (in addition to the website). They are now accessible from a dedicated menu item and organized in a more intuitive way, with additional informational pages.

Portfolios Organized by Tabs

  • Most Popular:
  1. Savings Portfolio (variable yield: 1.60% EUR / 3.25% USD)
  2. Indexed Fund Portfolios (expected returns: 3%–7%, 10 risk profiles)
  3. Pension Plans
  • Bonds:
  1. Target Portfolio (NEW, up to 24.6% cumulative target return, 4.0% yield to maturity)
  2. Bond Portfolios (estimated yields up to 3.6%, highly diversified)
  • Thematic:
  1. K Portfolios
  2. SRI Portfolios
  3. Value Portfolios

Each portfolio continues to display quick indicators for investment horizon and risk level.

The difference is that tapping on a portfolio now opens an expanded page with a detailed description and a direct button to open it.

Opening a new portfolio is now a more informed and faster process within the app. Additional information remains available on the website.

Similarly, you can access explanatory pages for the different ownership structures supported by inbestMe through the final tab.

The “Open a New Portfolio” Section Disappears from the Home Screen
The portfolio listing previously displayed on the home page has been removed.
All of that functionality—now improved—has been moved to Explore Portfolios, allowing the home screen to focus entirely on monitoring your existing portfolios.

Additionally, a quick-access card labeled “Open New Account” remains available on the main screen (at the bottom of the image shown above), redirecting users directly to the Explore Portfolios page.

3. Quick Actions: Everything Visible

We have reorganized the quick action icons on the main dashboard.

Previously, a More button hid several functions inside an additional menu. Now, all frequently used actions are visible with a single tap.

Quick Actions Now Visible on the Home Screen

  • Add Money: includes both one-time and recurring contributions.
  • Transfer Assets: move investments from other institutions (at no cost and with no tax impact).
  • Internal Transfer: transfer funds between existing portfolios.
  • Withdraw Money: partial or full withdrawals.
  • View History: access recent and historical transactions.

In the previous design, three of these functions were hidden inside the More menu.

Within each account, there is now also a visible View History button. Some functions still remain under the More menu, as shown in the example.

In the desktop version, an additional visible Internal Transfer button is available, bringing the total number of visible action buttons to six.

4. A Cleaner Portfolio Summary Header with Enhanced Privacy

The summary section at the top of the main dashboard has been redesigned with a more minimalist yet more comprehensive approach:

  • New chart: Total portfolio value and cumulative gains/losses are now displayed through an integrated tooltip within the new chart, which combines the selected accounts and account holders. We have dedicated a separate article to these new consolidated charts and the two additional analytical views that have been introduced.
  • Account holder/account selector: The selector now combines the ability to filter by account holder, account, or any combination of both. The page and charts automatically update according to the selected view.
  • Last update date: Along with a new eye icon in the upper-right corner that allows you to hide monetary values.
New: Hide Amounts with a Simple Gesture
By clicking the eye icon, monetary values—including total balance, current portfolio values, gains/losses, and returns—are automatically hidden. Portfolios remain visible, but the amounts are blurred while percentage returns continue to be displayed. This is particularly useful when reviewing your account in public places.
On mobile devices, this feature can also be activated through a native gesture by quickly turning the phone face down and face up again.

5. Add Money: One Process, Simpler Than Ever

We have unified and simplified the process of adding money to your portfolios. It is now one of the fastest workflows in the app, allowing you to access funding instructions more quickly.

What’s Changed?

  • Double and highly visible access: “Add Money” now appears both in the main menu and as the first quick-action icon.
  • One unified process: Clicking “Add Money” lets you choose directly between
  • One-Time or Recurring contributions. Previously, these were separate options.
  • Clearer instructions for traditional bank transfers, including buttons to copy the reference number, IBAN, and beneficiary details.
  • Native mobile functionality: As shown in the screenshots, mobile devices now leverage native operating system features to make entering amounts easier and faster.

6 Account Numbers Are Now More Visible

We have redesigned the summary card for each account.

First, we removed the pencil icon that allowed users to rename an account directly from the card. This functionality has been moved inside each account (see next section).

We found that the pencil icon created confusion because the entire card itself is clickable and serves as the entry point to the account details.

We have also removed the recurring contribution on/off indicator.

This has allowed us to permanently display the account number.

 7 Editing Account Names

Account names remain fully editable, but this functionality has been moved inside each account. The pencil icon is still available in the upper-right corner of the account screen.

Clicking the icon opens a window where the account name can be edited. In the example shown, the user changes the account name from “Retirement” to “Retirement on the Beach.”

8. Pending Orders Are Easier to Track

For portfolios invested through mutual funds, transactions are inherently slower than ETF portfolios due to standard industry processes. When investing in mutual funds, a subscription order is first submitted and settlement may take between two and five business days.

As a result, pending orders are relatively common.

To make this information more visible, we have added a dedicated icon in the upper-right corner. When pending orders exist, the icon displays the number of pending transactions in red. Clicking the icon opens a page showing the details of those orders.

In the example shown, the icon indicates that there is 1 pending order, and clicking it provides access to the detailed information.

9. Goal Forecaster: Automatic Calculation of Your Monthly Contributions

We will soon eliminate the need for manually notifying contributions. In preparation for this change, we have also modified the way the Goal Simulator estimates your regular contributions. Instead of relying on manually entered information, the system now automatically calculates your contribution pattern using your actual transaction history, making the estimate more reliable.

How the Estimated Monthly Contribution Is Calculated

We calculate the average monthly contribution based on:

  • Your contributions over the last 12 months, or
  • Since the account’s first contribution if the account is newer,

while excluding the initial deposit.

Formula:
Total contributions over one year ÷ 12 = Estimated average monthly contribution.

We recognize that because this calculation is based on historical contributions, it may not always perfectly reflect your future savings behavior—especially if you have made irregular one-time contributions or recently changed your recurring investment plan.

To address this, we have introduced a “Simulate Scenarios” button that is always available.

In the example shown, our algorithm estimates an average monthly contribution of €33, resulting in a 60.5% probability of achieving the goal.

However, the user decides to simulate a future average contribution of €100, increasing the probability of success to 97.7%, whereas a contribution of €36 would raise it to 65%.

Want to Simulate a Different Contribution Amount?
If you’d like to analyze your goal using a different monthly contribution amount, simply click “Simulate Scenarios” and enter the alternative recurring contribution you believe you can maintain. You’ll immediately see how your projected outcome changes. As your actual contribution behavior evolves over time, the automatically calculated estimate will gradually adjust and reflect your new savings pattern.

10. Interactive Banners: More Informative and More Useful

Over the past few months, we have been introducing new interactive banners throughout the client area. These banners are more informative and action-oriented, helping you discover new features, promotions, benefits, and updates as they become available.

A good example is the “Invite Your Friends and Earn €25 Each for Recommending inbestMe” banner. When clicked, it opens a detailed page explaining how the referral program works, along with options to share directly via WhatsApp, X, Facebook, or LinkedIn.

You can also copy your personal referral link and share it with friends and family.

This functionality also enables us to communicate new developments and promotions, such as our recent collaboration with TaxDown, through which we offered free or discounted tax return services.

11. More Flexible History Date Ranges

We have significantly improved the flexibility of date range selection within transaction history.

By default, the selected range is 30 days, which is usually sufficient for reviewing recent activity.

However, there are many occasions when users want to analyze a longer period.

By clicking on the predefined date range, you can switch to other options, as shown in the example where the selection is changed to “Since Inception.”

Additionally, when exporting information to Excel, three download options are now available:

  • Filtered Range
  • Current Page Only
  • Everything Since Inception

As shown in the screenshot.

What Comes Next

These improvements are part of an ongoing redesign process in which we combine client feedback with our commitment to making investing simpler, more transparent, and more efficient while delivering the best possible user experience through a modern platform.

Alongside the improvements described here, we have introduced new consolidated charts and two additional analytical views—another significant effort by our team to improve the information available to our clients and help them make better financial planning decisions.

From an inbestMe perspective, these latest improvements mark the completion of an internal project that began in September 2024 and has spanned nearly two years. The project started with the goal of delivering a completely new experience on our platform, followed by a first major redesign of our app. Additional enhancements were released during the summer of 2025, followed by further improvements in February 2026.

The objective of this project was to transform our platform into a versatile solution offering an equally strong user experience on both desktop and mobile devices while selectively incorporating native mobile functionality. We believe we have achieved a large part of what we set out to accomplish, and we dare say that we have built what is probably the best automated portfolio management app/platform in Spain.

At the same time, we know there is still much more to do when compared to the best international standards.

That is why, as always, your messages, feedback, and suggestions are the best fuel for helping us continue improving.

If there is any feature you miss or any suggestion you would like to share, please write to us.

We carefully review all feedback and integrate improvements whenever possible within our development capacity.

The completion of this internal project does not mean the end of our platform’s evolution—quite the opposite. While our new technology environment does not provide unlimited development capacity, it does allow us to move faster with our frontend developments and continue enhancing the user experience.

We hope this marks the beginning of even bigger projects in the future.
