An enhanced frontend: an evolution started in 2024 that, at the beginning of 2026, extends across the entire inbestMe platform

At inbestMe, we have been investing decisively in our technology platform for some time. These changes are not always immediately visible, but they are essential to provide a better experience today and, above all, to be able to innovate faster and more consistently in the future.

This is the case with the progressive migration of the inbestMe platform to React Native (see note 1 in the annex), a process we started in 2024 with the new corporate image and the launch of the new inbestMe app, mainly focused on improving the Client Area (or “Dashboard”).

After this first phase, throughout much of 2025 we worked on extending this architecture to the rest of the platform, an evolution that we deployed and put into production during January 2026.

These updates complete the set of developments carried out during 2025, which we previously communicated in the article Updates and new developments during the first half of 2025.

From a first step to a unified architecture

The Dashboard was the natural starting point to begin this migration process: it is the most frequently used area and where the impact on user experience was most evident. This first phase allowed us to validate the approach and the benefits of working with a unified frontend environment (see note 2 in the annex), capable of intelligently adapting to any device, specifically:

  • Web
  • iOS mobile
  • Android mobile

With this second phase developed during 2025 and launched at the beginning of 2026, the approach is consolidated: we no longer talk about isolated pages, but a coherent and continuous experience across the platform with a unified frontend in design and technology.

Key milestones achieved with this new release

1. Design and UX unification across all pages

The experience is now consistent from start to finish: the same navigation patterns, visual criteria, and behavior, regardless of the device.

2. Better use of native mobile functionalities

In certain fields and flows, the platform can leverage the device’s native capabilities, achieving more natural and fluid interactions, without compromising the full functionality of the web version.

3. Improved registration process, especially on mobile

Linked to the previous point, the onboarding process has been optimized with a clearly mobile-first approach. Flows are now more agile, steps are clearer, and the experience is better adapted to mobile use, reducing friction in one of the most critical moments of the client relationship. Although registration was already possible from mobile, the current experience is noticeably faster, smoother, and more intuitive.

4. Clearer and more intuitive target portfolio horizon selection

Selecting the horizon for target portfolios is now clearer and more understandable, aligned with each portfolio’s target date, making the choice easier.

5. Improved risk profile recommendation page

The risk profile recommendation page is clearer and more compact, also more consistent and better integrated into the platform’s overall flow, without losing any key information elements.

In the “see more” link of the portfolio allocation, you can now filter by asset type or view all assets as shown in the screenshot above.

6. Faster performance and responsiveness

Probably one of the most relevant aspects: the new architecture allows pages to be faster and more responsive, improving perceived experience and reducing friction in daily use. This impact will be measured and refined over the next few months as clients continue using the platform.

A technology platform ready to stay ahead

This work is not just an incremental improvement. The evolution of inbestMe’s frontend places us in a technological leadership position among digital investment platforms in Spain, with a modern, coherent, and scalable architecture.

This effort is not a one-off improvement but a medium- to long-term vision. Having a unified frontend positions us much more solidly to:

  • Evolve the platform more agilely
  • Maintain consistency across channels without duplicating effort
  • Incorporate improvements and new functionalities more proactively

We have thus built a solid foundation that allows us to move faster, maintain a consistent experience across all channels, and better anticipate our clients’ needs. It is not only a matter of design or speed but of future capability.

With this architecture, inbestMe not only responds to what the client needs today: it is technically prepared to stay one step ahead tomorrow.

Nevertheless, we are aware that continuous investment in technology is key to remaining at the forefront, not only in Spain but particularly in the international context.

Annex: additional technical explanations

  1. React Native is a frontend development technology that allows creating user interfaces by reusing a single codebase for web, iOS, and Android, while maintaining high performance and adaptation to each platform.

From a practical point of view, it provides several key advantages:

  • A single development environment

Reduces technical complexity and avoids duplicating effort between teams and platforms.
  • Truly cross-platform experience

The interface, with a single codebase, adapts intelligently to each device, respecting each operating system’s conventions.
  • Access to native functionalities

Allows integrating mobile-specific capabilities (interactions, controls, behaviors) without giving up unified development.
  • Faster evolution

Enables iterating, improving, and deploying new functionalities more quickly and consistently.
  1.  Frontend: the part of a digital platform with which the user directly interacts: screens, forms, charts, buttons, and navigation flows seen and used from the web browser or mobile app.

It is, in practice, the “visible face” of the platform and a key element in both user experience (UX) and the perception of quality, speed, and service reliability.

  1. Backend: the frontend is different from the backend, which encompasses everything happening “behind the scenes” and is not visible to the user: business logic, calculations, processes, security, or connection with internal systems, with its own technical complexity and high relevance for a platform as complete as inbestMe.
